This book is well written and very interesting in that so many classically trained musicians are Jewish, particularly when one considers the very small percentage of Jews in the world.

And a few changed their religion in order to be be accepted in the music world in the years before and during the Hitler era.

Great Jewish Music is the name for a series of tribute albums by Tzadik-related artistes. I've only heard two of these songs; the very accessible (for Ikue Mori) Pauvre Lola and the silly version of Comic Strip with too much reverb on the vocals/5(5).
